For over 65 years the Collier Charitable Fund has been providing grants to organisations that support the community. These endeavours are many and varied and since inception the value of the funds distributed is in excess of $117 million. This area of the website is building a collection of stories about the projects we have supported and pays tribute to the many people who work tirelessly to support others in the community

Alliance for Gambling Reform

Through its valuable first contribution in 2017 of $50,000 to the
Alliance for Gambling Reform, the Collier Charitable Fund has
laid the foundation stone for national reforms to tackle the

Australian Literacy an Numeracy Foundation

ALNF’s programs provide training, support and resources
that address the literacy learning needs of individuals,
families and communities across Australia – specifically
targeting Indigenous, refugee and disadvantaged Australians.

Collier Charitable Fund is generously supporting Red Cross’
sevenyear commitment to a Justice Reinvestment trial in Ceduna,
South Australia, to test the viability of this approach in Australia.

Melbourne City Mission

Melbourne City Mission is one of Victoria’s oldest, largest and
most diverse ‘for purpose’ community service organisations.
We work alongside people at risk, providing individualised
supports that disrupt trajectories into disadvantage and enable

St Vincent's Hospital
Since 1955, the Collier Charitable Fund has generously granted
over $850,000, playing a vital role in enabling St Vincent’s to
deliver some of this vital healthcare to our patients.

The Collier Charitable Foundation has helped The Queen’s Fund
to help single disadvantaged women in Victoria for over 50 years,

Over the past 64 years, Collier Charitable Fund has supported
over $1,200,000 worth of innovative technology at

The Salvation Army
The Collier Charitable fund has been extremely generous in
providing much needed funding to The Salvation Army’s mission
work for the past 64 years. Since 1955 the Fund has granted in

Tweddle Child and Family Health Service 

Most people think that playing with a baby or toddler is
something that comes naturally, but for many parents, it doesn’t.
Many lack any experience and have no role models on which to

University of Melbourne 

During the last ten years the Collier Charitable Fund has
donated over $1million to the University of Melbourne to enable
researchers to deliver a diverse range of initiatives that have made
