Amanda Milledge OAM - Chair

Graduating in Law from the University of Melbourne, Amanda practiced as a solicitor, corporate lawyer and Pro Bono Co-ordinator when she switched her focus to the charitable and philanthropic sector.  She acted as a consultant in Corporate Social Responsibility as well as working in the Trusts Office of the University of Melbourne.  Amanda has also served on the boards of the Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation as well as a number of charities, including the Penington Institute, Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre and SharingStories Foundation.  She currently chairs the Peninsula Kingswood Community Foundation.

Bridget Beattie

Bridget Beattie is a former Global Executive Vice President of ManpowerGroup and a member of ManpowerGroup Asia Pacific and Global Leadership teams.

Bridget has served in various non executive director roles with  Not-for-Profit organisations in both Australia and New Zealand over the last 25 years primarily in the community and the arts sectors. She currently serves on the local Finders Community Association committee and Flinders Golf Club Board.

Bridget has worked as a lawyer, executive coach, strategy consultant and corporate leader in a varied career which includes establishing and selling her own business, the law, professional services, the banking industry and working for a NYSE listed global company.

Chris Beeny

Chris Beeny is a retired solicitor. Prior to his retirement, he had been a partner at Maddocks for 16 years and before that a partner at Mallesons Stephen Jaques for 23 years. Throughout his career, Chris has been actively involved with many charitable and not for profit organisations including the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Victoria, where he was on State Council for more than 20 years.

Tony Johnson

Tony Johnson is formerly a Partner and Chief Executive Officer of EY in Oceania, and a member of EY Asia Pacific and Global leadership teams.

Tony’s current roles include Chair of Bupa ANZ, Director of Allianz Australia, Mercer Superannuation (Australia), Kieser Australia, E&P Financial Group, Member of the Melbourne Cricket Club Committee, Melbourne Theatre Company Board of Management and the Monash University Council.

Tony was formerly a member of the Champions of Change Coalition, the Leadership Council on Cultural Diversity and Board Member of ABCN.

Tony has a Bachelor of Economics, Master of Business Administration (Executive), Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, Graduate and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and recipient of a Distinguished Alumni Award from Monash University. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of FINSIA.

Michael Kingston

Michael Kingston is a barrister. He has previously been the Australian Government Solicitor, the Chief Legal Officer of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and partner in a leading law firm.

Michael has also served on the boards of the Human Rights Law Centre, the Public Interest Law Clearinghouse (now Justice Connect), Community West and the Austin Medical Research Foundation.

Executive Officer

Wendy Lewis OAM

Wendy has worked at senior levels in a variety of organisations including local government, manufacturing, accounting firms, independent schools, tertiary colleges and 10 years as the CEO of a not-for-profit organisation. Her experience includes governance and management, financial management, strategic planning and philanthropy. She has qualifications in accounting, management, education and philanthropy.

In addition to her current role Wendy holds board positions including Chair of The Invergowrie Foundation, and Chair of The Knox School Board.
